Math, unfortunately, is my worst subject, so they have been some times where I didn't quite understand a subject. I was embarrassed to ask for help most of those times, and had a harder time learning because of it. I realized that it would be more beneficial to me to ask my teacher or peers for clarification, or help. It makes learning math much easier when you can actually process it.

In math it's very important to be precise. One wrong step, and your answer could be completely different from the correct one. It could be the difference from understanding a math concept, and being completely confused by it.
What math does your future hold? What passions and goals do you have and how does math fit into those plans?
I may want to major in botany when I'm in college. Being that it is a science major, it will require quite a bit of math. I am prepared to take any course I need to in order to reach my goals.
